I am always reading at least ten books at once, and I have made a little rule with myself that I can&#8217;t buy another book until I&#8217;ve read half a book. Yes,\u00a0my rule allows me to\u00a0buy two books for every one I read.\u00a0I don&#8217;t\u00a0see a problem with that,\u00a0but I&#8217;m still in denial.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So for the next week or two, the mailman is my best friend. Since I&#8217;m currently jobless, I&#8217;m going to sit out on the front step with a stack of books and a beer and wait. (Well, not a beer since I&#8217;m at Dallas Seminary, and we&#8217;re not allowed to drink.) And once my mailman buddy brings me golden bubble-wrapped package, all those other books will go bye-bye for a while. Besides, who needs a job anyway?<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"lousytshirt.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/0801068185\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;creativeASIN=0801068185&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=jdmyers-20\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" alt=\"Christian Lousy T Shirt\" src=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/lousytshirt.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\"  \/><\/a>Why am I so\u00a0pumped up about this book?
