Sorry about that. Of course, I&#8217;m not forcing you to watch it&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So why post it? Because it has a great message for the church. No, not that we should stay up &#8217;till 5 am, partying all night long. Although, maybe that would be a good thing for some churches to do every once in a while&#8230;.<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"P!nk - Raise Your Glass (Official Video)\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/XjVNlG5cZyQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>What is the message in this song for the church? That we should stop trying to show how perfect and wonderful and Godly we are, and just embrace our uniqueness. Each one of us is different. Each one of us is broken. Each one of us, as the song says, are nitty gritty dirty little freaks.&lt;<\/p>\n<p>Rather than hide it, we should celebrate it! When we celebrate our differences and the ways we are made unique, the glory goes to God for making us this way. When we rejoice in our weaknesses, our failures, and our mistakes, it shows a hurting world that they too are invited and that God&#8217;s grace covers it all.<\/p>\n<p>So why are you so serious? Jesus says over and over in the Gospels that the Kingdom of God is a party. What part of &#8220;party&#8221; don&#8217;t we understand?\u00a0Let&#8217;s celebrate that we are wrong in all the right ways. That everybody can join in, whether they are gangsters, gay guys, sumo wrestlers, skaters, or hoola-hoop dancers. So Come on!
