The reason is that I often get bored with what I&#8217;m reading, but I really want to finish the book. So rather than completely stop reading, I just put the book aside to finish later.<\/p>\n<p>I realized recently that my writing projects are similar. I am currently working on three writing projects.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6617\" title=\"Writing a Book\" src=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/writing-a-book.jpg\" alt=\"Book Writing\" width=\"500\" height=\"304\" srcset=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/writing-a-book.jpg 500w, https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/08\/writing-a-book-200x121.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For a while there, I was focusing heavily on a\u00a0<a title=\"Commentary on the Gospel of Luke\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/commentary-on-the-gospel-of-luke\/\">Commentary on the Gospel of Luke<\/a>. I haven&#8217;t written anything on this since April. Then I switched to a book about church, called\u00a0<em><a title=\"Close Your Church for Good\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/close-your-church-for-good\/\">Close Your Church for Good<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0I haven&#8217;t forgotten about this project; I just got bored with it. So over the past several weeks, I switched over to begin writing a different book, one on <a title=\"What is Theology\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/what-is-theology\/\">questioning my theology<\/a>. I began by <a title=\"Introduction to Theology\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/theological\/theology-introduction\/\">questioning the foundations of theology<\/a>, and then I wrote about 50 posts\u00a0<a title=\"Bibliology\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/theological\/bibliology\/\">questioning what I have been taught about the Bible<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I think I am pretty much done with the series on Bibliology, and so rather than move right on to Theology Proper where I summarize and question what I have been taught about God (I&#8217;m actually scared to begin this), I am going to go back to my other two writing projects for a while. Over the next couple weeks, I will write some posts based on my <a title=\"Commentary on Luke\" href=\"http:\/\/gracecommentary.com\/bible\/forumdisplay.php?f=10\">Luke Commentary<\/a>, and then get a chapter or two done on <em><a title=\"Close Your Church for Good\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/close-your-church-for-good\/\">Close Your Church for Good<\/a>. <\/em>Following this, I will return to look at Theology Proper.<\/p>\n<p>If you are here only for the Theology posts, and the posts about church or about Luke hold no interest for you whatsoever, you should subscribe to the posts by email using the form below.
