I hope to do this regularly&#8230;but we&#8217;ll see if I can remember to do it&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Posts<\/h2>\n<p>Here are some of the blog posts I read this week that really made an impact on me.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Swanny&#8221; from Allergic to BS provided a list for why <a title=\"Legalist\" href=\"http:\/\/abnormalreaction.wordpress.com\/2011\/11\/08\/legalist\/\">legalists make lists<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Sam asks some really tough questions about <a title=\"Serving the Homeless\" href=\"http:\/\/www.graceground.com\/california\/looking-for-jesus\/being-the-church-in-the-community-part-9-the-homeless\/\">serving the homeless in our communities<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Nathan Bingham reminded us that as followers of Jesus, we have <a title=\"No Special Religious Requirements\" href=\"http:\/\/nwbingham.com\/2011\/11\/i-have-no-special-religious-requirements\/\">no special religious requirements<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Trevin Wax posted a great poem from Ben Witherington III called &#8220;<a title=\"If Only\" href=\"http:\/\/trevinwax.com\/2011\/11\/12\/if-only\/\">If Only.<\/a>&#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Comments<\/h2>\n<p>On <a title=\"Bounded Sets and Centered Sets\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/bounded-sets-centered-sets\/#comment-8039\">Bounded Sets and Centered Sets<\/a>, Dan B. from <a title=\"Snorting Horses\" href=\"http:\/\/snortinghorses.blogspot.com\">Snorting Horses<\/a>\u00a0wrote this breathtaking comment:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I&#8217;m less interested in getting someone through the door of some building. In fact, I have almost zero interest in that unless there&#8217;s something about what goes on in that building that really helps my friend walk more closely with God. My focus is on walking through life toward Christ with people.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more-->On <a title=\"CS Lewis Did Not Like Church\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/c-s-lewis-did-not-like-church\/#comment-8166\">C. S. Lewis did not Like Church<\/a>, Katherine Gunn from <a title=\"Truth Makes Freedom\" href=\"http:\/\/www.truth-makes-freedom.blogspot.com\/\">Truth Makes Freedom<\/a> matched my sentiments exactly:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Many people are not even allowed to participate in such places because they don\u2019t make enough money, don\u2019t look appealing enough\u2026don\u2019t fit the desired demographic\u2026don\u2019t agree with every doctrinal point. In my own experience, I had to walk away from the \u2018church\u2019 to preserve my spiritual life.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>On <a title=\"Bounded Sets and Centered Sets\" href=\"https:\/\/redeeminggod.com\/bounded-sets-centered-sets\/#comment-8172\">Bounded Sets and Centered Sets<\/a>, Sam from <a title=\"Grace Ground\" href=\"http:\/\/www.graceground.com\/\">Grace Ground<\/a> echoed my wish and desire:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In all fairness, there are hundreds of thousands of churches in the USA. Surely there must be those who care about people and care whether people actually know Jesus.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Thank you all for your comments and the blogs posts on your own blogs!
