What does Jesus want you to do more than anything else?
Share this post on Facebook of course. Or Tweet about it.
Better yet, do both!
I’m kidding!!!
I like when people share my stuff on Facebook and Twitter, but that’s not why I write.
I write:
- To learn what I think (I learn by organizing my thoughts through writing)
- To learn from you (through the comments)
- To pass on to other learners what I have learned from other teachers (2 Timothy 2:2)
For me, these three things are are how I measure “success.”
Thanks for reading this blog and for all you have taught me over the years!

Just a thought – there is nothing I can do that can make Jesus love me anymore than He does right now, and there is nothing I can do that can make Him love me less. He loves me completely. Obviously there are areas in my life that I know I have not yet fully surrendered. Yet His love for me is not diminshed because of my failings & weakenesses. In fact it is His love that motivates me to live in a manner that honours His name. Thank you for the thought.

Hello Keith Mchlachlan. You are correct that God loves you but you are also wrong that He cannot love you any more or less. There is actually something you can do to get God to love you more. It is all over the bible if you read it closely and it is to give Him your heart entirely..in simple terms, by being obedient to Him. If you read St. John 14, it will tell you that for the man who loves God (he will keep His words) and be loved by the Father also. I think there is a huge difference. God loves everyone but He loves esp. those who are obedient to His words (verse 21-23 of St. John 14)

Absolutely true! I meant the blog title as a joke. Have you seen the Facebook posts which show a picture of Jesus with the words, “Like this if love Jesus!”? The implication is that if you don’t like that image, you must hate Jesus.
That was the lame joke of this blog post title…

I agree with you Keith totally because Gods love is infinite and supreme because every attribute of God is complete, perfect, infinite and supreme. If He had to love you more then He did not love you enough and that is just not true. John 3:16 tells us of His supreme love before we even cared to acknowledge Him so the supreme love has never diminished nor can it ever get any better because it is supreme and infinite. If people think that they can get more of Gods love then we can boast about it by saying he loves me more than you because I’m more obedient to Him than you. This is why Gods love is supreme and infinite for all no less no more because there is nothing less abut Gods love and there can be nothing greater than Gods agape type love
I asked Jesus how much do yo live me?
He said; this much, and He opened His arms as wide as He could to show me His nail pierced hands
Did He open His arms 99% of the way? No, all the way buddy
