Some people were recently led to write some blog posts about Dr. Radmacher’s book on the Holy Spirit. I would say there were led by the Holy Spirit, but really, they were led by a book on the Holy Spirit.
Dr. Radmacher’s book on the Holy Spirit is down-to-earth, straight-shooting, and most of all, is anything but common sense. He actually digs into Scripture to see what the Bible says about the Holy Spirit and how we can expect Him to be at work in our lives and in our churches. If you buy his book before November 5, you can get a $50 bonus offer.
What is the sin against the Holy Spirit? Is it when you identify something as being from the devil when it is actually from God? Is this unforgivable? Some pastors and church leaders say that if they are doing something by the power of the Holy Spirit, and someone else challenges them and says that they are of the devil, then the questioner has committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and will never be forgiven. Is this right?
Can a Christian be demon-possessed? Scripture indicates that a Christian cannot be demon-possessed, but this does not mean there is nothing to be wary of. Not all who say they are Christians truly are, so maybe those who are Christian in name only can be possessed. Furthermore, Christians can still be oppressed and influenced by demons.
