Liberating you from bad ideas about God
Stop relying on pastors and Bible teachers to tell you what the Bible means.
Read this book and learn to study the Bible for yourself. Available now on Amazon.
The book discussion questions with each chapter to make it perfect for a home study group. There is also a LONG appendix on how to understand the violent passages in Scripture.
I used to have a site listed on this page which provided you a way to write your own commentary. But I deleted the site.
If you want, you can now interact with me on a commentary I am writing at Grace Commentary.com
Well, it was a good idea I had last year, but without a team of programmers, no time to develop the idea, and (most of all) no way to get the word out, somebody has surpassed and improved upon this idea.
Check out what they are doing over at You Version
i just saw this article and am disappointed that the website is no longer available. do you know any others like it? my email is adamcasey81@yahoo.com
Adam,
Yeah, I had to delete the site. I didn’t put safeguards in place, and it quickly became a place for sickos to post porn. So sad…
Anyway, yes, there is a new site called YouVersion which looks promising. Enjoy!
I have notes written in my Bible, actually in various Bibles over the years. I want to get a software or a download where I can show the Bible by chapter and verse (I use the NASB1995) then in the next column i can add all my personal notes for that passage, and in another column put the numbers of Hebrew/Greek words and their definitions. Then in another column put links (or paste them) to cross-referenced scriptures possibly in other versions. Do you know of anything like that available? Thank you.
