There are only two months left to send in your submission for the book, Finding Church!

You Can Write for Publication

In case you are new around here, and haven’t heard about this writing opportunity before, let me fill you in.

Civitas Press is publishing a book called Finding Church which contains the stories of people and their experiences with church. As we all know, the church is in a period of great upheaval. People are seeking to understand what the church is, and more specifically, their unique role and purpose within the church.

This is where you come in. If you have been a follower of Jesus for any length of time, you have probably experienced some difficult and painful situations in church. You may have been deeply hurt, misrepresented, or maligned. But as you continued to follow Jesus, He may have led  you to a new church, shown you a  new way of practicing church, or simply taught you how to live with grace and forgiveness toward those who hurt you.

Submit your Story for Finding Church

If you have a story like this, there are millions of people who want to read it, and you can now get it published in Finding Church. 

Note that we are not looking for abstract theological treatises about church, but nitty-gritty stories about your real-life experiences in church. Explain what happened, and what you did about it.

This book is not about church bashing. That is not our goal or intention.

We love the church and want to see everybody grow in love and unity with one another as we develop understanding about the various paths Jesus has led each of us down. So if you write for this book, show the pain and heartache (if it exists), but also show how love, grace, redemption, and more intimacy with Jesus resulted from your experience.
