This makes me want to become a Catholic

UPDATE: One of the commenters pointed out that this is an internet prank. Check the comments below for a link which explains more.

Sometimes we “Protestants” take our theology WAY too seriously. I laughed and laughed at the following pictures because the Catholic responses are perfect every single time …

All dogs go to heaven

I especially smiled at the first Presbyterian sign where they concluded with “… Read the Bible.” I get comments like this on my blog all the time from people who seem to assume that just because I believe something they don’t, it must be that I haven’t read the Bible …

I would love to hang out with the priest of that Catholic church … but the Presbyterian one? Not so much.

    Jeremy,

Did these two churches really have a back-and-forth debate on their church marquees? I’ve never seen that before. What a mess.

If you look carefully at the pictures, you can see they are identical except for the words. It’s a photoshop-type job…

I am curious Jeremy, did you know when you posted this, that this was an internet prank and a completely false post that these churches have to deal with, or did you knowingly become part of the prank and post it anyway?

Now that you have replied to the previous comments, I know the answer. Was that not a fair question to ask? You have Pranked on blogs before.

My first thought was that this HAD to be a prank – really would not have been surprised to find out it happened. But I seem to remember animals being in the garden, right? Or is my translation wrong, I don’t always use the KJV.

Yeah, it turned out to be a prank. Yes, there are animals in the garden, and will be animals in the Kingdom as well …. if the lion is going to lay down with the lamb, anyway.

I love my cat but if his last breath on earth is the end of his existence I am okay with that. A lot of unbelievers are okay with it why not us?
